Science of Stillness is a trading name operated by a small partnership company MB “Rebalance”, company code 306669734, incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, address Šeimyniškių g. 19A-96, LT-09236 Vilnius. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) create a legal Agreement (this “Agreement”) between us and the user of the service entering into this Agreement. Science of Stillness’s website, platform, and application are available by desktop or mobile (the “Platform”). This Agreement governs your use of the Platform and the services, features, products and information available on the Platform, along with associated and successor websites, applications, features, information, and services, or any part thereof (the “Service”).
The Platform is provided as a service to our customers (“Customer, “you”, “your”, “Second Party”, “Client”). Our services include products – programs offered to our customers with various activities, included, but not limited to meditation and breathwork retreats. Your use of the Platform is governed by these Terms. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review the Terms whenever you use or access the Platform. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use or access the Platform. Your use of the Platform constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these Terms.
We also reserve the right to refuse service provided (including refusal of access to the Customer to spaces/platforms/chats) to any person who does not comply with the Company’s Terms, behaves disrespectfully, or interferes with the use and experience of other Customers, including employees and volunteers, and at any time prior to the commencement program, during or after the program without prior notice.
1. Changes to this Agreement
We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to change, modify, add to, supplement or delete any terms and conditions of this Agreement (including the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and governed by this Agreement) at any time; provided, however, that we will use reasonable efforts to provide you with notification of any material changes (as determined in our sole discretion) by email, postal mail, website posting, pop-up screen, or in-Service notice. You should visit this page whenever you use the Platform to review this Agreement and learn if any terms have changed. If any future changes to this Agreement are unacceptable to you or cause you to no longer be in compliance with this Agreement, you must immediately stop using the Service. Your continued use of our services following any revision to this Agreement constitutes your complete acceptance of any and all such changes.
2. Prices and Price Changes
Prices on www.scienceofstillness.com are quoted in Euros or US Dollars depending on the program, “starting at” prices per person unless otherwise stated and exclusive of VAT.
Unless otherwise stated, the services we offer does not include flight tickets; visa fees; any applicable foreign departure taxes; security, port charges; parking fees; customs, immigration, passenger facility charges; international transport tax and other fees. In addition, baggage and personal insurance, transportation to and from airport or train station, and all other personal items are not included. You should retain sufficient local currency to pay for all the above items.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time before you pay for the product. Once payment is made, the price of your product is confirmed, and we will not apply any additional fees unless you make corrections to your order after payment has been made.
3. Payment
To secure a retreat booking you will be required to pay a full price. Since we pay our service providers in advance, we therefore collect the full fee from our Customers in advance as well.
We accept such payment methods: Credit and Debit Cards (major card networks like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover should be supported); PayPal; Stripe; Revolut; Mobile Wallets – Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay; Bank Transfers; Buy Now, Pay Later Services: Klarna.
We do not charge a service fee for processing the payments; however, we are not responsible for the cases when payment processors apply their own fees. Please note that when paying in a currency other than the payment of the program, Users must consider the exchange rate and the commissions of their bank. We are not responsible and in control of the applicable bank fees, bank commissions and exchange rate.
4. Booking and Cancellation
Upon receipt of your payments, you will receive an email confirming your payment. Please check the confirmations carefully to make sure that all your booking details are correct. Contact us at info@scienceofstillness.com if your confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete.
Event Confirmation: The Customer hereby acknowledges and consents to the understanding that final confirmation regarding the execution of the retreat will be provided by the Company no later than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled event date. The Company strongly advises, and the Client hereby acknowledges and agrees, that the Customer should refrain from purchasing airfare, or any other transportation tickets to the retreat location, as well as from procuring personal insurance, until after receiving the final confirmation. Despite every effort being made to conduct all retreats as scheduled, the Client understands that changes or cancellations may be necessitated due to unforeseen circumstances. The Client hereby accepts this advice and agrees to the aforementioned conditions, fully comprehending the potential for adjustments or cancellations and willingly assuming the associated risks
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the First Party reserves the right to make amendments to the retreat arrangements, including changes in instructors or schedules, with substitutions of comparable qualifications.
5. Refunds policy
The refund policy states that the Company does not issue refunds due to Customers canceling the Agreement and/or refusing to participate in any Activities. These cases include cases where the Customer refuses to participate in retreats or is unable to participate in retreat for any reason. The Second Party understands and agrees that in the above-mentioned cases, money will not be returned, as the Company pays its service providers in advance.
The refund policy states that the Company does not issue refunds due to Customers canceling the Agreement and/or refusing to participate in any Activities. These cases include cases where the Customer refuses to participate in retreats or is unable to participate in retreat for any reason. The Second Party understands and agrees that in the above-mentioned cases, money will not be returned, as the Company pays its service providers in advance.
Alternative Arrangements: In cases where the Second Party is unable to engage in the services organized by the Company, the Company extends the following alternatives:
a. Transfer of Services: The Second Party may assign their purchased services to an alternative party, provided that the Company is notified at least ten (10) days prior to the commencement of the event.
b. Event Date Change: Subject to availability, the Company may permit the Customer to reschedule to a new date for the same event at the same location. This option is contingent upon the existence of vacancies within the Company’s organized services.
Cancellation by the Company. In such cases, when the Company unilaterally cancels the event, the Company undertakes to notify its Customers as soon as possible. After the Company informs about the canceled event, the money will be returned within 10 (ten) working days after the notification about the canceled event is sent to the Customers.
6. Liability Waiver & Indemnification
The Second Party hereby consents to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the First Party from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising in connection with personal injury or property damage that may occur during, before and after retreat. This waiver encompasses inherent risks associated with yoga, meditation, and breathwork practices, extending to any medical or psychological advice provided.
The Second Party acknowledges and accepts that engagement in the retreat activities involves inherent risks. The First Party is not responsible for any injury, damage or loss suffered during, before or after retreat, including, but not limited to natural disasters, transportation disruptions, accidents at the accommodation place or other territory, or other unforeseen circumstances for which the First Party is not reasonably in control.
The First Party accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any misadventure, casualty or any other force majeure or causes beyond its control.
No responsibility or compensation of any kind can be taken where:
- We are constrained to make a significant change to your program or cancel your booking due to a circumstance beyond our control, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. A circumstance beyond our control is one that cannot be foreseen or avoided, even after taking all due care and includes, but is not limited to, war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity and its consequences, industrial disputes, any failure to secure flying rights, natural and nuclear disaster, fire, epidemics, health risks and pandemics and unavoidable and unforeseeable technical problems with transport reasons beyond our control, closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, and any other similar events;
- Where the change or cancellation by us arises out of alterations to the confirmed booking request by you.
If you have any complaints concerning any services provided by us you must inform us in writing by email at info@scienceofstillness.com within 28 days of your departure date from our retreat or within 28 days of the conclusion of the Science of Stillness’s retreat. Any complaints received after this period of time will be considered as null / not valid.
7. Code of Conduct
The Second Party is expected to adhere to a Code of Conduct to maintain a safe and respectful environment during the retreat. This includes compliance with guidelines and instructions provided by the First Party, refraining from disruptive behavior, and respecting the well-being and privacy of fellow participants.
8. Photo and Video Release Forms
The Second Party grants permission to the First Party to use photos and videos captured during the retreat for promotional and marketing purposes. Any concerns or objections regarding the use of such materials should be communicated to the First Party in advance.
9. COVID-19 Liability Release
The Second Party recognizes the ongoing risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and assumes all responsibility for any potential exposure during the retreat. The First Party is not liable for any illness or consequences related to COVID-19, and the Second Party is expected to adhere to any safety protocols and guidelines established by the First Party for the protection of all attendees.
10. Insurance and Personal Responsibility
It is essential and a condition of our contract with you that you and all members of your party have suitable and comprehensive travel insurance to cover you before, during and after your trip. Company cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by you before, during or after your trip as a consequence of inappropriate or insufficient travel insurance being purchased.
Due to our Terms and Conditions and your risk of loss of deposit and all other amounts paid, it is mandatory that you purchase travel insurance to provide you with coverage for cancellations for any reason, injuries, lost luggage, force majeure, frustration of its purpose, impracticability or impossibility of performance, economic hardship or loss, and any other events that may affect the booking.
You can buy your travel insurance from any insurance provider of your choice.
Even in the instance that Company does not ask you to show material proof of insurance, you and your party are 100% responsible for being fully covered.

Please note that for sports and wellbeing holidays that involve any physical activity whatsoever, we do not have to, but may require you to provide us with a copy of the insurance policy before engaging in any of those activities. If you fail to do so, the Company reserves the right to cancel your retreat/onsite program booking without compensation or refund. Even in the instance that Company does not ask you to show material evidence of insurance, you and your party are 100% responsible for being fully covered.
11. Health and Safety Acknowledgment
Prior to booking, the Second Party is required to disclose any physical or mental health conditions or dietary requirements to the First Party. The First Party reserves the right to recommend cessation of participation if such conditions may be adversely affected by retreat activities, prioritizing the well-being of the individual or other attendees. The First Party is not responsible for Second Party’s failure to disclose any physical or mental conditions or any dietary requirements and allergies.
In consideration of your being permitted to participate in any related events or activities, including but not limited to science backed meditation, yoga and breathwork retreats (hereinafter collectively, “the Activities”), you acknowledge, understand, and agree to comply with the stated and customary guidelines and participation norms in the Activities. However, if you notice an unusual hazard during your presence or participation, you will immediately remove yourself from the Activities and notify the nearest facilitator.
You hereby recognize, understand, and acknowledge that the Company is NOT comprised of physicians, psychologists, therapists, or healthcare professionals. The activities offered by the Company are explicitly NOT intended to serve as a form of treatment, diagnosis, or therapeutic intervention for any illnesses, diseases, or disorders, encompassing those of physical, mental, psychological, or emotional nature. The Company is NOT responsible for any events or outcomes experienced by Customers during the engagement in retreat’s activities.
You fully understand and acknowledge that if you were not in such good health, you would not be permitted to partake in the Activities.
If you have any special requests or dietary requirements, you must notify us at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee that they will be accommodated, but it is recommended that you highlight any requirements when booking and we will try to accommodate them. Although we will make all efforts to accommodate all such requests, we regret that we cannot guarantee that we will.
It is your responsibility to notify Company of any relevant and / or existing medical conditions before booking that may make you unsuitable to participate and/or impact on your participation in the booked product/service.
12. Limitation of Liability
The First Party liability is restricted to the provision of retreat services as advertised and does not extend to any cancellations, delays, or changes arising from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the First Party, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, political unrest, or transportation disruptions.
Throughout your booking with First Party, you accept full liability for any damage or loss caused by you or any of your guests.
Please note you are responsible for your and your party’s actions. If we believe your actions or those of your party could cause danger, upset or annoyance to other Customers, guests or staff, we may terminate your booked arrangements immediately. In this event, we cannot pay compensation, make refunds or pay any expenses you suffer as a result.
13. Protection of Personal Property
While security measures are implemented, the Second Party is exclusively responsible for ensuring the security of their personal property at all times. This includes the proper safeguarding of any rental equipment or vehicles.
14. Travel Arrangements
The Second Party bears responsibility for all travel arrangements and associated costs. The First Party disclaims responsibility for any issues stemming from external travel services or documentation irregularities.
15. Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The waiver of any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of any other provision or of our right to require strict observance of each of the terms herein. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid for any reason, that provision shall be severable, and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16. Force Majeure
If a party is prevented in whole or in part from carrying out its obligations under this Agreement as a result of Force Majeure, it will promptly notify the other party accordingly. The notice must:
- Specify the obligations and the extent to which it cannot perform those obligations;
- Fully describe the event of Force Majeure;
- Estimate the time during which the Force Majeure will continue;
- Specify the measures proposed to be adapted to remedy or abate the Force Majeure.
Following a notice in accordance with this Terms and while the Force Majeure continues, the obligations which cannot be performed because of the Force Majeure will be suspended, other than obligations to pay money that is due and payable.
The party that is prevented from carrying out its obligations under this Agreement as a result of Force Majeure must remedy the Force Majeure to the extent reasonably practicable and resume performance of its obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
The party that is prevented from carrying out its obligations under this Agreement as a result of Force Majeure must take all action reasonably practicable to mitigate any loss suffered by the other party as a result of the party’s failure to carry out its obligations under this Agreement. The term of this Agreement will not be extended by the period of Force Majeure.
17. Dispute Resolution
Mindful of the high cost of legal dispute, both you and the First Party agree to the following dispute resolution procedure: In the event of any controversy, claim, action or dispute arising out of or related to any transaction conducted on this Websites, or the breach, enforcement, interpretation, or validity of this Agreement or any part of it (“dispute”), the party asserting the dispute shall first try in good faith to settle such dispute by providing written notice to the other party by registered mail describing the facts and circumstances (including any relevant documentation) of the dispute, and allowing the receiving party 28 days from the date of mailing to respond to the dispute. Notice shall be sent to info@scienceofstillness.com
Unless you indicate otherwise in your notice, the First Party shall respond to your notice using your last-used billing address or the billing and/or shipping address in your online profile.
If the First Party is unable to resolve the dispute with you through the Customer Service department referenced above, both parties shall resolve their dispute utilizing governing courts located in the Republic of Lithuania. You hereby waive your right to a class action lawsuit.
18. Confidentiality
The Parties agree that during the term of this Terms, they are likely to obtain, have access to, or become aware of information and materials that each party deems to be confidential, proprietary, or of strategic importance, including without limitations, the Product, all data, trade secrets, knowledge, information, technology, designs, systems, techniques, methods, processes, know-how, business projections, and intellectual property, marketing and sales information, information about the business of each of the Parties and their affiliates whether or not reduced to writing. The Parties acknowledge that the success, profitability, and competitive position of each of the Parties require that strict confidentiality be maintained at all times with respect to all confidential information and that any breach of such confidential information is capable of causing substantial damage to any of the Parties. The Parties agree to:
a. holds all of the confidential information in confidence and not to use same other than in accordance with the terms of these Terms and performance of their obligations hereunder;
b. not to publish or disclose the confidential information, whether directly or indirectly, or to assist any other party in doing same; and
c. not to disclose or assist in the disclosure of any confidential information to anyone other than to each Party’s respective, employees, agents, and affiliates who have a need to know such information in order for the Parties to comply with their respective obligations hereunder, but in such event, each of the parties shall ensure that their employees, agents, and affiliates who have access to the confidential information shall comply with these provisions.
19. Waiver
None of the terms of this Terms shall be deemed to have been waived by any act or acquiescence of either Party. Only an additional written Terms can constitute waiver of any of the terms of this Terms between the Parties. No waiver of any term or provision of this Terms shall constitute a waiver of any other term or provision or of the same provision on a future date. Failure of either Party to enforce any term of this Terms shall not constitute waiver of such term or any other term.

23. Acknowledgment of Understanding
Upon acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, you/Second Party explicitly affirm that the Second Party have attained the legal age, have thoroughly read and comprehended the terms outlined herein, and willingly and voluntarily embrace and consent to the entirety of the stipulations contained within. This affirmation serves as a clear expression of the Second Party’s cognizance, understanding, and deliberate acceptance of the legal implications associated with these Terms and Conditions.
